Vista will be showing a wide range of products at this year’s IFSEC event. In particular, they will be demonstrating their newest IP offerings:

VIP-KIT

The VIP-KIT is a plug ‘n’ play entry level solution that provides a neat, packaged solution for smaller businesses. Simple to use, it contains all the key features that customers in this category require.

The viewing/management software is based on a PC recording system and comes free with Vista’s new VIP-KIT products. Available in the kit will be a range of popular cameras that are all easy to configure. These include:

  • VK-VVRD4V9C-540, colour vandal proof static dome camera
  • VK-C402DN day night camera based on the popular VEC boxed cameras
  • VK-ENC01 & VK-ENC04, 1 & 4 input codec units for integrating standard analogue cameras
  • VK-DEC01 single channel decoder for analogue monitors
  • VK-M22X-EXT & VK-M22X-INT, internal and external day/night 22x optical zoom camera modules
VIP-STREAM

Vista has also developed the VIP-STREAM suite of products to answer the needs of top-end installations where a greater functionality is required. As with the VIP-KIT, it will be available with a range of popular cameras including:
  • PowerDome2
  • Protosv
  • VFD static domes
  • Vandal resistant and impact resistant domes

Graphica2 IP

Graphica2 IP is an open architecture system allowing the user to plug in a range of Vista equipment, including DVRs, all the cameras available in the VIP-KIT and the VIP-STREAM kit, and all leading 3rd party manufacturers’ IP equipment. It allows video streams to be recorded to a local PC or to network storage as well as allowing multi-screen video walls anywhere on the network. It can support up to 16 users and has no limit on the number of cameras linked to the system.

It is suitable for medium to large installations and where there is a suitable existing network already in place. Graphica2 IP allows the user to use the benefits of IP in existing installations. For example, using the existing network to increase the number of cameras without needing to install extra cabling. It also allows the use of new IP technology on an analogue system without replacing it, thus creating a hybrid system. Additionally, if the user has a significant volume of data to store, Graphica2 IP can allow for large cost savings by using IP network storage rather than multiple DVRs.

Also premiering at the event will be the following products:

PowerDome Lite

A true day/night, vandal resistant camera with a 22:1 optical zoom ideal for smaller applications. Very small and discreet, the dome offers many of the features of a fully functional speed dome in a compact and competitive package.

MiniD Packages

MiniD is a miniature and robust DVR that can be used in covert, mobile and portable applications. Over a hundred times smaller than the average CCTV DVR, the MiniD uses a standard SD card to record both video and audio. The user can then play back the footage via the DVR or on any PC running Windows. It is also available combined with the VFD vari-focal dome and an LCD monitor.
