General announcement: Quantum Upgrade
Some users of the Vista Quantum DVR may experience problems when replaying video via a remote PC or on a PC from an archived disk.
The error message: "Playback Data Not Found" is displayed on the PC. There are no issues with the integrity of the DVR recordings or the archived video, but the PC client player software should be upgraded.
An upgrade CD will be supplied on request by emailing full details to QuantumUpgrade@vista-cctv.com, or alternatively by downloading Quantum_upgrade_CD.ZIP from:
http://www.norbain.co.uk/downloads/misc/Quantum_Upgrade_CD.zip
The upgrade programme can be used to create a USB flash drive for the DVR upgrade as well as loading the new client PC software for remote monitoring via a PC over a network, full upgrade details are also included.
