DO NOT install this upgrade utility on a white ADTT16 Touch Tracker (product code ADTT16) or a white VM16 Touch Tracker (product code RCTT16B).
Requirements
PC with one serial port (COM 1).
DB9F-to-DB9M straight-through serial cable (only the transmit, receive, and ground signals are used):
RPNR00 — CBL/A,RS232,10’,DB9F-DB9M — 6003-0017-05
RPNR01 — CBL/A,RS232,25’,DB9F-DB9M — 6003-0017-04
Installing the Firmware
Download the self-extracting archive file Vm16_v2.02_FieldUpgrade.exe.
Double-click the archive file icon to extract the files. To change the destination from the default folder location, click the Browse button.
Proceed with firmware installation per the instuctions included with the download, ADTT16E_Firmware_Upgrade.pdf.
Note: If you extracted the files to a diskette, copy the files to a folder on the hard drive. All of the files must reside in the same folder. DO NOT rename or delete any of the files.
