3M Computer Filter Customer Selection Guide
Privacy models offer 3M's blackout privacy technology which works like tiny vertical blinds to narrow the viewing angle so that only persons directly in front of the monitor are able to see on-screen data; blacks out screen images from a side view. There is no blurring or image distortion with 3M™ Privacy Filters. Besides offering privacy protection, these filters reduce glare up to 95% and come in sizes to fit monitors from 13" to 21". They block up to 99.9% of ELF/VLF E-field radiation and prevent static and dust build-up when properly grounded; the PF450 utilizes the contour wraparound assembly-free frame design for a custom fit while the PF400 and PF500 utilize the assembly-free flat frame design and fit both CRT and LCD monitors. All privacy models are warranted against defects for as long as you own your 3M Computer Filter; wipe clean with a soft cloth and glass cleaner.
