Transport solutions
 The transport sector has unique requirements when it comes to CCTV. The nature of transport makes heavy demands on the equipment, which, as a result, must be purpose-built for the sector.
The operating environment in transport is one of high temperatures, high ambient dust, excessive vibration, and in the case of railways an 8000 volt cable a few metres away that in wet weather can arc onto the train. For this reason the equipment is special, carrying Railway Group Standards and other European standards.
There are also special issues for installers. Working on overground or underground railways needs trained staff with the right safety certificates.
