The S1500e series is designed for video monitoring and surveillance over IP networks. It delivers high-quality MPEG-4-based video over 10/100Base-T networks using cat 5, fiber optic, and wireless media. The servers can easily be extended over local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs) or the Internet using ISDN, PSTN, or xDSL routers. These Ethernet video servers are built on open standards and are entirely firmware upgradeable to provide long-term investment protection.The S1500e video servers come in three versions: a video encoder (S1500e-T) with one analog video input at 30 frames per second (fps); a video encoder (S1502e-T) with two analog video inputs at 15 fps; and a video decoder (S1500e-R) with one analog video output (NTSC/PAL). The configuration and management of these servers are made easy with the user-friendly interface provided by SmartSight's nDVR and nDVR Pro distributed video management and storage software.
