The SNC-VL10P is an IP network camera for the Broadband Network era. Incorporating a built-in web server and a 1/3 type CCD with Super HAD™ technology, the SNC-VL10P is ideal for remote monitoring applications (production lines and web attractions) and general IT applications (weather, tourism and webcasting). This network camera will also be a hit with telecom companies and ISP/ASP providers. With its networking capability, this camera provides significant advantages over traditional camera systems, including easy and flexible installation with a user-friendly web browser GUI (Graphic User Interface). The SNC-VL10P is compatible with a variety of networks such as Ethernet, XDSL, cable modem and PSTN. Images captured by the SNC-VL10P are encoded into Wavelet-format signals with high compression rates (ideal for network transmission) and then are transmitted as high-quality digital images over a network. Users can monitor live images from anonymous client PCs at any location and at any time by using popular web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer™ and Netscape Navigator™. The SNC-VL10P also enables alarm-data transmission. Its functions include activity detection, a one sensor input and two sensor outputs. In addition, other external devices can be controlled by using a PC and the optional RS-485/RS-232C data transparency interface.
