 Notes on CCTV Switchers: Switchers form a link between cameras and monitors, allowing any camera to be held and sequenced on any monitor. Switcher units linking up to 32 cameras to 4 monitors are available ex-stock, and attractive features such as character identification, camera number display, and time and date generation are often included.
Larger systems cater for up to 512 cameras and 64 monitors across up to 40 different locations. These large systems, often modular with boards added according to the capacity required, have restricted access function to limit which control point can view which monitor(s).
