Available from Norbain, Access Control Technology (ACT) Ltd. has launched a new access control solution that has been designed to suit all types of SME’s located in a single building and not requiring more than 32 protected doors.
Notes on CCTV Quads: Where an installation involves four or fewer cameras, a quad is a cost effective alternative to a multiplexer. Quads can record or display inputs from up to four cameras in sequence or simultaneously. The signal is digitized before display on one or two monitors or providing one or two VCR outputs. Quads display up to four images at one time on the monitor, and some also display one full screen image.
Quads may be standalone and integrated. Integrated Quads have an integrated monitor, saving time, space and money.
When choosing your Quad:
Match the Quad to the camera. For instance, if the camera is colour, select a colour Quad.
Consider the quality of display required – quads offer either real time or near real time display, with real time giving the higher quality.
Remember to select the appropriate resolution of the monitor in an integrated quad.
