 Notes on CCTV Multiplexers: Multiplexers enable multiple cameras feeds into a single monitor(s). Depending on the model selected, up to 16 cameras can be linked to a single multiplexer and in-turn fed into one or more monitors. This allows each operator to view several areas simultaneously.
Easy to use, multiplexers can also include the functions of:- Activity Detection – tracking changes in image content
- Alarm Handling – linking camera control to alarm systems
- Telemetry – enabling pan/tilt/zoom control.
