Enriching the functionality of surveillance systems across a variety of applications, Arecont Vision's new MegaVideo® IP technology cameras are now available through Norbain.
Part of Arecont Vision's full line of MJPEG megapixel cameras, the new AV1310, AV2110, AV3110 and AV5110 series network cameras deliver real-time, colour or day/night image processing, allied to a wealth of features - and all within a robust and compact package.
Delivering colour imaging from 0.1 - 0.3 Lux, and 0 Lux low-light performance, DN camera models also feature an IR cut filter to provide superior day/night rendition. With video frame rate transmission between 9fps at 2592x1944 - 32fps at 1280x1024 resolution, the cameras can supply up to 15 times the resolution of IP VGA or analogue cameras.
A host of functions such as multi-streaming of 8 non-identical streams, multiple zoom windows, motion detection with 64 detection zones, and auto multi-matrix white balance control, all combine to offer installers and users a cost-effective, high-performance imaging solution.
"Comparable in cost to IP VGA & analogue cameras, the latest Arecont Vision MegaVideo® megapixel cameras can supply evidential quality imagery, capturing larger areas within a single image, ensuring no detail is missed," says Buzz Coates, Norbain's branded CCTV manager. "Every piece of megapixel video can be magnified and examined in real-time, or retrospectively, using Arecont's Virtual PTZ forensic zooming, for maximum flexibility."
