Delivering excellent picture quality at HD resolution, Sony's new range of fixed, mini-dome, and PTZ dome HD network cameras are now available through Norbain.
Sony's SNC-CH140 HD 'fixed', and SNC-DH140 HD 'mini-dome' network cameras combine state-of-the-art image processing and clarity, to deliver enhanced levels of surveillance security, even under the most challenging lighting conditions. Sony's HD CMOS image sensor provides excellent picture quality at all resolutions up to 1280x1024, including HD resolution (1280 x 720) in 16:9 aspect ratio; and the full potential for sharp, clear HD images is ensured thanks to Sony's XDNR noise reduction, visibility enhancer (VE) and View - DR systems.
Installation is quick and easy too, thanks to the newly developed Easy Focus function, which automatically adjusts to suit the surrounding scene. PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability and support for multiple codecs provides ultimate systems flexibility.
Further flexibility of operation is assured with the ideal compression format for differing image and network types being delivered via, JPEG for high-quality still images, and MPEG-4 and H.264 for clear, moving images over bandwidth-limited networks.
Two new HD PTZ dome cameras, the SNC-RH124 (internal), and SNC RH164 (external), deliver excellent HD resolution (1280x720, 30 fps) picture quality in 16:9 aspect ratio. With a tilt range of 210¡, and a 360¡ endless high-speed panning capability, they can monitor wide areas quickly and in high detail.
Both cameras feature a Quick Release Mechanism, HPoE (High Power over Ethernet) capability, and support for multiple codecs. The SNC RH164 external dome is also IP66 rated, and is supplied with an impact resistant dome cover, and a unique integrated sunshine ventilation system, specifically designed for heavy-duty outdoor monitoring applications.
ONVIF compliant, the new HD camera range maximises interoperability and flexibility between a wide range of manufacturers' network video products, optimising systems performance.
"The sheer high-performance capability of the new Sony network cameras makes them an obvious choice for mission critical CCTV applications," says Paul Jones, Norbain's Sony Business Development Executive. "Depending upon individual operational requirements, their crystal clear HD resolution images also provide the option to cover a greater surveillance area, but with fewer cameras."
