SANYO's VCC-HD4000P High Definition (HD) Network Camera is now available through Norbain. The SANYO VCC-HD4000P is a full HD network camera equipped with the world's first 4 mega pixel 10x AF zoom lens, matched to a 4 mega pixel progressive scan CMOS sensor, that delivers incredibly sharp, crystal clear images. These images are streamed via a dual codec in H.264 / JPEG format, enabling simultaneous high-definition recording and real-time H.264 live monitoring across a network. An additional HDMI output allows the full quality of the camera's images to be displayed on a HD monitor.
The technological ability of the VCC-HD4000P was recognized at this year's IFSEC 2009 Security Industry Awards, where it was voted CCTV Product of the Year. Commenting on the success of the new product, Doug Gwilliams, SANYO's Business Development Manager said: "Our design engineers deserve considerable praise for developing a camera which brings broadcast standard imagery to the CCTV industry. Since its launch, the VCC-HD4000P has generated considerable interest amongst installers, system integrators, end-users and specifiers, acclaimed as the future of CCTV image technology."
"The VCC-HD4000P's unique features make it the perfect addition to our portfolio of leading-edge CCTV equipment," says Buzz Coates, Norbain's branded CCTV manager: "We strive to provide our customers with high-performance products that not only boast the most useful technology but are supported with the level of comprehensive technical back-up they have come to expect from Norbain.
