Reading, UK
Xeno has released the XVD range of vandal resistant domes with built-in LEDs. This latest offering reinforces the company’s continuing mission to meet changing market demands and provide installers and end users with no-frills, good quality CCTV equipment at a low cost.
All the models in the range provide illumination of up to 20m with 28 built-in LEDs allowing excellent night time coverage to be achieved. The sturdy vandal resistant housing allows the domes to be placed in vulnerable areas where unprotected equipment could otherwise be tampered with or damaged.
There are three variants in the range: XVD35V8CMHR-LED is the high resolution version, offering 530TVL, while the XVD35V8CM-LED gives a resolution of 420TVL. Both models have a vari-focal 3.5-8mm lens with an IR trigger of 3.1/3.7 Lux. The XVD43CM-LED also offers a resolution of 420TVL but comes with a standard 4.3mm lens with an IR trigger of 2.6/2.7 Lux.
“This range provides installers with everything they need to achieve effective night-time surveillance,” says Andrew Pigram, technical director. “As with the rest of the Xeno range, the cameras offer simplicity and reliability, making them ideal for smaller installations where budget plays an important role.”
