Vista pulled in the crowds at this year’s IFSEC event with a range of exciting new IP products, developed to satisfy different levels of demand in the market.
The VIP-KIT is a plug ‘n’ play entry level solution that provides a neat, packaged solution for smaller businesses. Simple to use, it contains all the key features that customers in this category require, for a maximum of 16 cameras. Visitors were particularly impressed with the kit’s ease of use and the extensive features available on such a moderately priced solution.
The VIP-STREAM suite of products answers the needs of top-end installations where a greater functionality is required As with the VIP-KIT, it is available with a range of popular cameras including PowerDome2, ProtosV, VFD static domes and vandal resistant and impact resistant domes.
Graphica2 IP is a user friendly, graphical based management system with an open architecture allowing the user to plug in a range of Vista equipment including DVRs, all the products available in the VIP-KIT and the VIP-STREAM range, and many leading 3rd party manufacturers’ IP equipment.
For both the VIP-STREAM and Graphica2, it was the seamless integration with multiple brands that really made them stand out from the crowd. Also of note was the intuitive, interactive mapping and the power of the products when used as a management front-end.
"The concept of the different kits really appealed to installers because it simplifies the choice and immediately provides them with the equipment they need," says Andrew Pigram, Vista brand director. "With the confusion surrounding IP in the industry, it’s important that manufacturers make the process as clear as possible to ensure that IP can be successfully adopted where the application best suits it."
