Vista IR illuminators shine in Benchmark Magazine review

Vista, the UK’s premier brand of CCTV equipment, has once again had the quality of its equipment confirmed with a "recommended" rating in Benchmark magazine. This time, it was the turn of the VIRP120 range of IR illuminators to receive praise.
Benchmark ratings are based on "real-world" tests that are carried out in the field, not in laboratories, so they give a good indication of what results are likely to be achieved on-site.
The VIRP120, available in 120º and 30º versions, is quick and simple to install and benefits from an in-built thermal managed system which allows cool running of the lamps and longevity in the filed. Other features include a separate PSU that includes a photocell for automatic switching between day and night modes and a remote telemetry control which allows alarming and disalarming of the IR LED lighting system from any standard control system.
Acording to Pete Conway, editor of Benchmark Magazine, "[The VIRP120] has all the features and functions required, delivers a good level of lighting throughout its range, and shows absolutely no abberations at all. The coverage was even throughout, with no bright or dark spots. Indeed, the level of performance, coupled with its small size and simple mounting, actually endeared this unit to many of the test team to such a degree that I though at one point we wouldn’t be getting it back!"
