Norbain SD, Europe's largest distributor of electronic security solutions, is to open a sales and technical support office in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The Dubai office will be headed by one of Norbain’s Middle East specialists, Richard Pires, who has 8 years' experience in selling security solutions and equipment in the region. The office will support Norbain customers throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council which includes Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Paul Ramsay, Norbain’s Divisional Director for Export, says:
"The Middle East is a key export market for Norbain. As a well established International distributor we have acquired extensive commercial experience in the region which is reflected in our best practice Export policies and procedures. The opening of an office in Dubai is a decision of strategic importance and underpins our commitment to the area. It reflects the growing opportunity presented by growth in tourism, and, the growing security issues throughout the territories. Clearly our customers will benefit from local sales and technical support, particularly for product demonstrations and specification advice. This office will be able to service all their sales and technical requirements."
Norbain is the first UK distributor to announce plans to establish an office in the region. With staff already in post locally in Dubai, development plans for the new office are well advanced with an opening scheduled for Q4 of this year.
