Vista launches seven new miniature bullet cameras
Feb 5 2004
Vista’s greatly expanded range of miniature bullet cameras demonstrates that there is no need to compromise on good looks and performance when selecting a cost effective, combined CCTV camera, lens and bracket.
Vista’s range of nine bullet cameras provides the variety in style and specification that installers and users have come to associate with the brand. Vista Bullet Cameras are divided into three ranges:
1. Standard Bullet Range
VSBCC – 1/4" medium resolution colour, 3.6mm lens, silver casing
VSBMC –1/3" medium resolution monochrome, 3.6mm lens, silver casing
VBBMC36 – 1/3" medium resolution monochrome, 3.6mm lens black casing
VBBCC36 – 1/3" medium resolution colour, 3.6mm lens, black casing
2. Varifocal Bullet Range
VSBMC4V8 – 1/3" medium resolution monochrome varifocal, 4-8mm lens
VSBCC4V8 – 1/3" medium resolution colour varifocal, 4-8mm lens
3. LED Bullet Range
VBBMC/LED – 1/3" medium resolution monochrome, 3.6mm lens up to 10m IR range, black casing
VSBMC6/LED 1/3" medium resolution monochrome, 6mm lens, up to 5m IR range, silver casing
VSBCMC6/LED 1/3" medium resolution colour/monochrome, 6mm lens, up to 5m IR range, silver casing
Mark Pritchard, Divisional Director of Vista, says that with this new range Vista is responding to user demands for more aesthetically pleasing all-in-one camera units:
"These miniature bullet cameras are suitable for any environment where surveillance needs to be aesthetically pleasing and discreet, and where a small cylindrical camera is preferable to a mini dome. This includes the expanding domestic market, but also commercial door ways, receptions and corridors. The plug and play nature of these cameras is such that very little installation time is needed. The bullet range comes complete with bracket and pre-wired BNC and power connector which simply attach to the cable feed and a suitable PSU. Once the camera is fixed no focussing is required; in fact the only adjustment needed is on the Varifocal Bullet versions to get the desired field of view. Given Vista’s record for high quality, long term performance, installers and end users are assured that these units are also very economical to maintain."
Vista’s new range of bullet cameras is available from early February. For more information, telephone Vista on 0118 944 0123.
