Norbain LIVE 2003 backed by leading CCTV and Access Control manufacturers
Sep 5 2003
Norbain Live 2003, the late autumn series of regional events Norbain is hosting for CCTV and Access Control installers, is enjoying strong support from a wide range of manufacturers. Dallmeier, Derwent, TDSi, and Vista have already confirmed that they will be exhibiting, alongside Extreme CCTV, Optex, ethernetcctv.com, Sanyo, Paxton and Vision Fire & Security. The show is welcomed by manufacturers as a unique opportunity to combine the coverage of a national exhibition with the informality of a local show, as well as a chance to unveil updated product ranges in the gap between the major annual exhibitions.
Norbain LIVE 2003 will take place in Edinburgh, Wigan, Cardiff, London and Birmingham between 4th and 20th November 2003. As well as being of general interest, the event will specifically address the requirements of installation engineers, security specifiers, architects, and facilities and security managers working in the financial, local government, retail, and transport industries.
The rapidly growing exhibitor list ensures that the events will meet their objective of giving installers and end users the opportunity to learn about the latest technology and products for CCTV and Access Control at a local venue. In addition to the manufacturers’ exhibits, there is a full schedule of seminars on industry topics.
The events are being promoted on the Norbain website, www.norbain.co.uk/events/live, where the list of participants and seminar topics is being steadily expanded. Additionally, the website also allows interested parties to register for an entry ticket on-line.
Shaun Cutler, Marketing Manager of Derwent Systems explained why he is enthusiastic about the Norbain LIVE concept: "Derwent and Extreme CCTV see this as the ideal opportunity to ensure that the links between manufactures and installers are maintained and remain strong. We consider it to be an excellent forum for Extreme CCTV to launch the new ZX55, a long range integrated twin camera and illumination solution. We will also be presenting a seminar on two subjects - Achieving Effective 24 Hour Pictures – always an important subject for installers, especially during the dark winter months - plus the hot topic of Automatic Number Plate Capture."
Dermot Grace, Managing Director of Norbain SD, added: "We are very pleased to see the event rapidly coming together according to plan. Manufacturers are clearly confident that we can achieve full attendance at each event, which is enabling us to put on a show of the breadth and depth that will be highly attractive to the audience. Putting together an event of this nature requires confidence and support from both sides, and we are fortunate to have a track record within the industry that generates that confidence.
"I’m very excited about Norbain LIVE, which I’m sure will soon become a fixture in the industry calendar. It is an excellent opportunity for all our customers and all our suppliers to meet and share views in a less formal atmosphere than a big show, but with comparable coverage and depth of the key technologies. I’m sure that all attendees, including manufacturers, installers, and end users, will find this a unique and very valuable event."
