Xeno has released the XC400/XC402 colour/mono box cameras to compliment its range of low price, high quality CCTV products.
With an impressive 540TVL resolution, colour/mono operation is ensured with a moving IR filter allowing for excellent picture quality under daylight, white light or IR illuminated scenes. A simple on-screen display (OSD) allows for quick and easy set-up of the cameras with no special training required.
A number of privacy zones can be set to protect sensitive areas that would otherwise be captured on screen. Privacy zones are an important way to ensure compliance with the data protection act but this functionality is something often missing from cameras in this price range.
Digital noise reduction allows the operator to reduce noise in lower light conditions to provide a clear, sharp picture. 0.002lux with sens-up frame integration increases sensitivity allowing the cameras to work down to very low light levels.
"The XC400 and XC402 cameras offer many of the advantages of models in a much higher price bracket," says Andrew Pigram, Norbain’s technical director. "They provide a high quality solution to those installations where a range of advanced features aren’t required."
