Norbain and Paxton in exclusive deal
Sep 27 2004
Norbain SD, Europe's largest distributor of electronic security solutions, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Paxton Access Limited covering Paxton's entire Access Control portfolio in 12 markets throughout the Middle East. The agreement takes effect from September 2004.
Under the terms of the agreement, distribution of Paxton's Access Control portfolio is now exclusive to Norbain's International Sales department in the following countries: Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
Paul Ramsay, Divisional Director of Export at Norbain explains the background to the agreement:
"Norbain and Paxton have developed an excellent partnership over the years and the development of an exclusive distribution agreement covering the Middle East is a natural outcome of this. I am sure that our impressive sales record with Paxton was instrumental in reaching this agreement, combined with our recent decision to open a sales and support office in Dubai. Our commitment to developing a local presence in the region clearly makes Norbain more attractive to manufacturers keen to build exposure and sales in the area."
Mo Kanjilal, Paxton's Export Manager is very positive about the agreement:
"Norbain's international sales department are very enthusiastic about selling Paxton solutions and noticeably proactive in building customer relationships and driving sales. The fact that Norbain now has a local presence in the region with plans to establish local demonstration facilities supported by staff knowledgeable about our product range gives us every reason to be optimistic about our future level of sales penetration in the Middle East."
Key product ranges covered by the agreement include Net2, Paxton's advanced network access control solution for enterprise users. In due course Norbain will offer full demonstration facilities for Paxton's Access Control solutions from the company's new Dubai office.
