Vista vans expand range of kit available for mobile demonstration

May 30 2008

Reading, UK

Vista has updated its fleet of vans to include the new Navigator and Blade DVRs, as well as a range of recently released domes.

Vista’s fleet of long wheel base Mercedes vans allow installers to demonstrate the latest equipment wherever is most convenient for the customer. Every van has its own dedicated driver who is fully qualified to perform in-depth demonstrations on the van’s Vista equipment. As well as taking the installer and end user through the various security solutions onboard, they can also offer tips and advice on how to get the very best images for the end user’s specific environment.

With the new Navigator and Blade DVRs now on-board, installers will be able to show exactly how each unit can be used to meet their customers' requirements. The Navigator is packed with a host of features, including a mouse-driven GUI which is intuitive in operation, minimising training requirements and easing operator use. Blade is a truly hybrid DVR offering high resolution images and excellent performance for systems incorporating both analogue and IP cameras.

The recently released PowerDome2 range of high speed domes offers a wide choice of aesthetically identical cameras with varying capabilities to cover a wide range of applications. The range includes internal and external high speed domes, external vandal resistant domes and static domes.

The new family of impact resistant 3-axis domes has been introduced to sit between the standard varifocal fixed style dome and the fully vandal resistant VVRD range, ensuring you’ve always got a great solution to you customer’s requirements.

"The vans have been a real hit with installers and end-users alike as it takes any of the uncertainty about picture quality, ease of use and any operational questions out of the equation," says Mark Pritchard, Vista divisional director.  "The installer can simply make an appointment for the van to be at the customer’s premises where they will be able to get a practical demonstration and real-life results."
