Jul 18 2006
Reading, UK
LIVE06 offers a deeper look at electronic security by providing a unique environment in which visitors have time to fully get to grips with the products on show. Over 25 main industry players are exhibiting at what promises to be the most important event of its type this year.
Access Control is one of the fastest growing areas of the modern security industry and sees a huge range of solutions entering the market each year. LIVE06 gives you the opportunity to discuss how these solutions can help solve your application requirements. Up-to-the-minute product information is available by logging on to norbainlive.com and clicking the exhibitor logo’s, but here is a small taster of the breadth of Access Control products you can expect to see:
ACT will be introducing the new ACTpro 200 door expander for use with ACTpro 2000/3000 door access controllers. Capable of supporting two doors, the ACTpro 200 comes complete with a 3 Amp monitored power supply, facilitating each door with fuse and battery support.
Bewator is launching the Entro Lite Access Control system which offers a cost effective solution for small businesses that have a minimal number of doors to control, but who still value the importance of high-level security. This new addition to the range also provides users with an upgrade path to the full Entro 5 system.
Ask BPT about their X1 two wire video entry system which is designed to allow transmission of all data signals and power supply on a single non-polarized twisted pair. This design makes for incredible ease and speed of installation, providing some very real cost savings.
HID will be showcasing their new RP40 multiCLASS™ which can read multiple card technologies including HID Prox, iCLASS, MIFARE, DESFire and HID multi-technology cards. The reader provides enhanced security through mutual authentication and data encryption and allows for significant card management flexibility and increased security.
Paxton Access’ Net2 is an intelligent Access Control solution that offers a flexible yet easy to administer means of controlling access to a site. Version 4 of the software allows the use of ‘Triggers & Actions‘ to integrate Net2 V4 into other building systems, such as lighting, heating, elevators and much more. Demonstrations will be held at all the events throughout the UK.
Visitors will be able to see the latest version of the TDSi PC software, available free of charge with every MicroGarde® controller. Amongst the many additions to the software, an automatic fire door release feature has been included. This allows only selected doors on a fire excape route to be released when a selected input from a Fire Panel becomes active.
LIVE06 also offers an excellent opportunity for product comparisons. With all leading brands exhibiting side by side, visitors will be able to get expert advice that allows them to select the best product for their needs.
