ACT readers and keypads to feature at IFSEC
Stand L110, Hall 20, NEC, Birmingham 10-13 May 2004
Norbain SD, Europe’s largest distributor of CCTV and Access Control equipment, has signed a distributor agreement with Access Control Technology Limited (ACT), the Dublin-based manufacturer of digital keypads, card readers, door controllers, PC software, card media, and accessories. The new distribution agreement will be launched officially at IFSEC 2004 where ACT products will be demonstrated on the Norbain stand (L110, Hall 20).
Norbain has been steadily increasing its range of Access Control products during the past two years and now counts 22 leading brands amongst its product portfolio. Paul Wong, Technical and Product Development Manager at Norbain, believes ACT offers something very special to the UK market:
"The ACT product range is rich in features and aesthetically pleasing but is also very competitively priced. It provides an excellent starting point for installers new to access control as the product is both user friendly and intuitive. It is also fully scaleable with no loss of investment when upgrading a single door system to a multiple door system. ACT has a loyal following amongst access control installers which is always indicative of products that are easy to install, perform well and prove reliable in practice."
David Tymlin, Access Control Technology’s Managing Director for Ireland and UK is delighted with the agreement:
"Access Control Technology is excited at the prospect this new partnership has to offer our company. We see this as a great opportunity for both companies to further develop the access control market and we look forward to working closely with Norbain and their customers for many years to come."
ACT products will be fully supported by Norbain’s technical department and will feature on Norbain’s stand at this year’s IFSEC. Visitors to IFSEC can also see the products on ACT’s stand, R10 in Hall 19. For more information, visit: www.accesscontrol.ie or www.norbain.co.uk.
