Norbain unveils plan to open dedicated service centre
Jan 27 2003
In another industry first, Norbain, Europe’s largest distributor of CCTV and Access Control equipment, has unveiled plans to centralise its existing three service centres with the opening of a new dedicated Premier Service Facility in Preston, Lancashire. The new fully air-conditioned facility incorporates a purpose built engineer’s workshop, and at 6,100 square feet represents a significant increase in overall servicing capacity.
Dermot Grace, Norbain SD’s Managing Director says that the new Premier Service Facility will lead directly to improvements in customer service:
"Norbain’s reputation is built on high customer service, extensive product range and unparalleled technical support, and our continuing commitment to these values lies at the heart of this decision.
"As Norbain grows, the volume of service requests grows in step and we faced the inevitable prospect of needing to extend our existing servicing facilities if customer service levels were to be maintained. Instead of doing this, we have taken a bolder, more long-term decision and centralised our operation in a new service centre. Not only does this offer in-built capacity for future growth, but it also delivers immediate improvements in customer service, as we will now offer a more flexible, responsive and consistently high quality service. All of this further enhances Norbain’s reputation as the UK’s premier distributor of CCTV and Access Control solutions."
Customers should experience the benefit of the new dedicated service centre within weeks of the facility opening in February 2003. There will be no changes to existing telephone numbers for service related customer enquiries.
